How is a staircase priced?
Standard waterfall or Hollywood stairs start at $4 per step, plus the carpet ordered for the stairs at the same all-inclusive square-foot price as the rest of your home. Floating or upholstered stairs are quoted at your estimate.
Can you do just the stairs?
Yes. Stairs-only jobs have a $200 labor minimum, plus materials. When stairs are part of a bigger install, you simply pay the per-step price plus the carpet.
Do you carpet curved or open stairs?
Yes, including floating steps and upholstered stairs. These take more hand work, so I price them at your estimate.
